Job Purpose
To analyze financial data, forecast trends and prepare models to support tariff regulation, strategic planning and operational decision-making. The role ensures accurate financial insights that aid in regulatory compliance, tariff development and cost optimization.

Key Result Areas
- Evaluate existing tariffs and develop models for tariff adjustment proposals based on cost, demand, and regulatory guidelines
- Create financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability under various scenarios, supporting strategic and regulatory planning
- Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for tariff structures and reporting
- Monitor and analyze costs and revenue trends, identifying areas for efficiency improvement and revenue enhancement
- Maintain accurate financial databases and prepare reports to support tariff planning and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide insights for tariff-related discussions with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders

Person Specifications
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, regulatory finance, or related roles.
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced MS Excel, and ERP systems.
