PRODUCT LIFECYCLE SUPERVISOR

Reports to: Product Development Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring deployed products and services deliver value to both the business and its customers. This role involves consistent monitoring of revenue generating products and services, tracking customer churn, and overseeing reactivations, revenue, and transaction volumes.

The Usage and Retention / Product Lifecycle Specialist manages product and service usage monitoring, performance tracking, go-to-market (launch and post-launch) planning, and user training. Additionally, they participate in training activities, reporting, quality assurance, and overall business reporting on all solutions.

They also lead efforts to review and analyze products for errors or defects that could negatively impact the user experience, ensuring any required fixes or enhancements are implemented based on feedback gathered across the bank

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product and service content for advertising, staff and user training, and manuals.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence—such as trends, opportunities, and customer feedback—to inform product improvements.
  • Lead comprehensive knowledge transfer and bank-wide training initiatives for all products and services.
  • Produce product performance reports for executive management and regulatory submissions.
  • Contribute to annual marketing planning and forecast development, collaborating on strategies to drive product uptake.
  • Collaborate with product managers to initiate and secure internal business approvals and regulatory acceptance for newly implemented products and services.
  • Participate in new product development discussions—both IT-led and conventional products—by clarifying customer requirements and expectations.
  • Take a lead role in evaluating products and services performance to identify improvement areas.
  • Specify and direct necessary research to determine customer needs and preferences.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of current and future product lines by reviewing specifications, requirements, and new product or service ideas.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the organization’s products to those of competitors.
  • Work closely with marketing, product managers, and business teams to ensure product success and market expansion.
  • Track all product- and service-related issues, coordinating with product managers, business units, and technical teams for timely resolution

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or a field tied to the product’s sector (Fintech, finance, etc.) required, CIM or equivalent certifications or MBA will be an added advantage.
  • 2-3 years’ relevant work experience with a focus on product management, including project management experience
  • Technical knowledge of the latest technologies and services used within the
  • Banking and FINTECH industry
  • Excellent Data analysis and Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem solving
  • High level of attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, oral communication skills and Negotiation Skills
  • Take ownership for the work assigned and have good follow through skills.
  • Ability to consistently deliver accurate results on-time and hold others accountable.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional eye for details.
