Job Title: Teller (40 positions)

Reports to: Satellite Manager/Branch Operations Manager

Regions: Central, Northern, Eastern and Western

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To receive customers over the counter and make payments against withdrawal request after verification.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Receive and count cash at the beginning and closure of shifts

2) Provide savings account balance details to customers.

3) Undertake daily counting and balancing of the cash in the register as per provided schedules.

4) Perform specialised tasks such as preparing statements, personal and money orders.

5) Verify and receive loan and utility bill payments as well as mortgage payments.

6) Record all transactions at the closing of each shift.

7) Respond to customer queries relating to savings accounts as well as other bank-related products.

8) Opening new accounts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any course

1) Timely resolution of customer queries

3) Teamwork

4) Reduction in shortages

5) Number of transactions completed

6) Transaction accuracy (error rate 0.05% against number of transactions per month

7) High level of integrity

8) High level of confidentiality
